If watching the carbs is key, maybe switch brown rice for white and whole-wheat pasta for regular. Dee- I...Thank you everyone for your encouragement!<br /><br />Dee- I thought it kind of odd that my diet included so many carbs (rice and pasta yesterday, oatmeal today) but I seem to be losing weight, so I guess it's ok? I don't know.. haha. The nutritionist at the clinic said the purpose of the diet was to lose intraabdominal fat. I have heard before that it was to shrink the liver but she said that's not really the reason.
